Useful Information

Australian customs and border protection services:
All arriving passengers must complete an Incoming Passenger Card. All travelers need to present their passport and completed Incoming Passenger Card to a Customs and Border Protection officer on arrival before collecting their baggage. Please note that food, animal products and plant/wood material, including many common souvenirs, will also need to be declared upon arrival.

Currency:
The currency in Australia is the Australian dollar. The exchange rate is US$1 = AUD$1.32288 as at Nov.15, 2016. All major credit and debit cards are widely accepted but surcharges may apply. ATMs are widely available at the airport as well.

Climate:
The temperature in June  ranges from minimum temperatures of 9°C/49°F to maximum temperatures of 19°C/67°F.

Electricity:
Australia operates on 220V single-phase. Australian plugs have three pins and an adaptor is required for most international countries.
